I’m Alfie and I am here to tell you about Roman day that
happened recently in Year 4. In Roman day we learnt about Romans and we made a
presentation on a shield, we performed a play or we could make a poster on
Roman facts. The funny part was that we had our faces painted red and blue. The
red face paint was for blood effects for a Roman soldier who had come from
battle.
The blue paint was for the Celts because when the Celts went to battle,
they put blue paint in a way that intimidated their enemy.
Also, the children
made mosaics as an activity. They either made a soldier, a roman helmet, a
horse or a roman idea of their own.
